Philips Hp6378/10 Bikini Perfect Deluxe Trimmer, Opal / Aqua Review

When I heard the Philips Hp6378/10 Bikini Perfect Deluxe Trimmer referred to as “a girl’s best friend,” I have to admit I was a little bit skeptical.  Now that I’ve tried it, though, I think the phrase is correct!  The trimmer came with six super-precise attachments to help tame stubbAle and shape eyebrows and bikini lines.  It’s cordless and rechargeable, giving 60 minutes of use on a ten hour charge.  It can be used wet or dry, and comes with some great bonus items.  Everything fits neatly into a travel bag, which means I can keep groomed both at home and on the road.  This little device has made grooming my bikini line a whole lot easier (and pain free).  That alone makes it one of my favorite beauty tools.

Pros:

• Comes With Six Attachments: There’s not much you can’t do with the attachments that come with this trimmer. There’s a precision trimmer to groom the bikini line, a precision comb for even trimming, an eyebrow comb to keep brows at an even length, a micro trimmer for removing single hairs, an epilator to remove hair by the roots, and a micro shaver for safe, hypoallergenic shaving.  The attachments are easy to use and do their job well.  What else could you ask for?
• Cordless: Grooming is much easier when cords aren’t involved.  The Bikini Perfect can give up to an hour of use on a single charge.  When more energy is needed, simply pop it in the charger overnight.  There’s an LED light in the charger that gives a head’s up when the shaver is ready to be used again.
• Can Be Used Dry or Wet: Everyone has their preferred way of shaving.  I like to use this trimmer dry, but every once in a while I’ll bring it in the shower with me.  Since it can get wet it’s also very easy to clean, which saves on time and frustration.
• Great Bonus Items: I love it when I get bonus items.   This trimmer comes with a travel bag, an exfoliating brush, and illuminating tweezers.  The shaver and the bonuses all fit within the travel bag, making it easy to look fabulous wherever you go.

Cons:

• Epilator Takes a Long Time: Because the head of this device is so small, it can take a long time to go over everything with the epilator.  It’s also not the most comfortable experience, but this can be said of just about any hair-removal process.  Using the epilator means you won’t have to shave as often, though, so in the end it can be a real time saver.
• Not the Closest Shave: Keep in mind that this is a trimmer, not a shaver, so the shave won’t be as close as what you’d get with a razor.  However, it’s perfect for keeping the bikini area in check. 

This cute device is fun to use and does a great job grooming my bikini line.  The attachments are what really make it unique – they work great and give this one device a lot of flexibility.  I love the long-lasting battery and the illuminating tweezers are a fun novelty.  It’s easy to travel with and use at home.  I can see how you might come to think of this as a girl’s best friend.  It saves on time, frustration, and the inevitable nicks and cuts of straight razors while keeping you groomed and happy.  What’s not to love?
